Description

Experience a wild adventure in Slovenia’s wilderness by canyoning in a mystical hidden canyon and rafting down the pristine Soča River. A walk through the scenic Soča Gorge will be topped off by a drive up to the highest mountain pass in the country to witness the splendour of the Alpine world from above.

First on the itinerary is a visit to the incredible Sušec Canyon where you will traverse down rocky passages, slide down natural waterslides and jump into crystal-clear pools in the most tranquil of environments. No prior experience is needed. You'll be fully equipped and accompanied by a professional guide. For some more wet, adrenaline-packed fun, your next stop is the amazing Soča River, a stunning emerald jewel of the Slovenian mountains. Rafting down its rapids amid breath-taking views of the Julian Alps is truly an unforgettable experience. You will then venture into the Soča Valley and visit the picturesque sports hub of Bovec in the heart of Triglav National Park. To get a completely different vantage point, you’ll take drive up and over the Vršič Pass. Located at 1611 m above sea level, it’s the highest road pass in Slovenia. On this mountain road, constructed in 1915 during WWI, amazing panoramic views open up before you descend back into the valley and return to the busy streets of Ljubljana.

Perfect adrenaline day. One of the best trips in Europe for us. You see and do so much. It would be difficult to decide which part of the day was better.

The guides were phenomenal - funny and above all serios when needed to be safe. Soca is such a beautiful river, there are just no words to describe it. I felt like I got my dose of adventure on this trip. Canyoning is absolutely crazy. Loved every second.

You can't miss this if you are in Slovenia in the summer, cause the part by the lakes is nicely chilled. This is the best way to see the area, if you of course like some rush. Team was great and supportive to all in the group. This is what is all about to become a part of nature.
