A day packed with true Alpine adventures. From an adrenaline descend down a fairy-tale canyon, to exploring the unspoilt outdoors of the Julian Alps, this trip guarantees an unforgettable experience of Slovenia’s natural treasures.

The Slovenian Alps are a natural wonderland of incomparable beauty. Hidden in this incredible environment are surreally pristine gorges and canyons which you simply have to experience first-hand. We will take you on one of the most authentic canyoning adventures in the magnificent Fratarica Canyon. Once geared up, the guide will take you on a 30-minute hike up to the top of the canyon. Then you’ll descend down its diverse features, jump into emerald pools, slide and rappel over numerous waterfalls. No prior experience is required, but do make sure you don’t suffer from vertigo, as part of this canyoning descent involves rappelling down a 48-metre-high waterfall. Next on the list is a visit to Trenta, the upper part of the Soča Valley. This mystical place is like entering a world that time forgot. You will hike through the Soča Gorges up to the river’s source. The adventure will then continue on a much higher level, as we will take a driver over Vršič Pass. At an altitude of 1611 m, it is the highest road pass in Slovenia that leads into the very heart of Triglav National Park. The drive itself is an adventure all on its own. The road dates back to 1915, when it was constructed during WWI, and offers some of the most panoramic views of the Alps. The cherry on top will come in the form of stunning Lake Jasna, a small glacial spectacle near the Alpine hub of Kranjska Gora.

PLEASE NOTE: Canyoning is not suitable for non-swimmers, people with mobility impairments, people with spine injuries and women in pregnancy. If you have any health issues please consult with us before booking.

We took the 4-hour "City Bike Tour Ljubljana" with our guide, Andrej. Andrej was fabulous: filled with informative, historical, and humorous details. The ride allowed us to see many parts of Ljubljana in a short time, and Andrej tied it all together. The ride was not too difficult (we are seniors). The lunch stop was perfect (Slovenian charcuterie, plus a pour of local wine): enough to eat, water to drink, and a convenient WC. We recommend this tour (and Andrej) without reservation. We could not hope for a better experience.

This was a truly amazing experience! We really enjoyed our beautiful Seven Lakes Valley hike with an overnight stay at a mountain hut. The alpine scenery of mountains throughout the hike was simply stunning especially the crystal clear emerald lakes, which are absolutely breathtaking! The cosy mountain hut was a lifesaver after a long day’s hike, dinner was hearty and delicious, atmosphere was lively and the beds were warm and comfortable - overall a great experience! What made it all the more enjoyable was being in the safe hands of our brilliant guide, Klemen who was not only very experienced, professional and knowledgeable, but he was also extremely helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to take care of our needs during the journey. From the start, he was very responsive and proactive in helping us arrange our itinerary in the best way possible to maximise our time there. We also did a private rock climbing session with him after the hike and it was awesome! We definitely enjoyed our time in Slovenia with him and highly recommend going with this company and a private guide like him if you are looking for a customised trip.

While in Slovenia we really wanted to go cave kayaking. We had booked in weeks in advance, but when we arrived another company cancelled our trip as it was off season and they didn't have enough people interested in doing it. We rang around some other companies and kept hearing the same thing, until we contacted Slovenia Activities. They usually need a minimum of four people but said they would make an exception for us (there were two of us). They arranged transport and that's when we met our driver Peter. It was a long drive, nearly two hours, but didn't feel long at all! Peter was so chatty and funny that the time flew by. We were taken back by all the beautiful scenery so he offered multiple times to make a stop so we could get some photos, he also bought us some bottles of water. The actual trip is quite physically active so you need to be on reasonable shape as there are a lot of steep stairs in the cave. You start off going in a miners train, and then go to a to where you put some waterproof overalls on. If you have a shoe size over 38 then the overalls have a waterproof pocket at the front where you can keep your phone. The actually kayaking was fun, you are allowed to explore it on your own and at the end of that part you go down a mini waterfall! Then after that you explore the mine and end on a miners meal of a meat platter, some bread and some spreadable cheese. On the journey back Peter was a delight again, and let us stop at McDonalds to get some dinner.

Had a great photo tour around Ljubljana with Nejc. He understands a lot about photography and also about the city and history of Slovenia. Visited a lot of photo spots in 4+ hours and he was also willing to share his knowledge around how to get great photos. He is also very friendly and reliable. Thank you so much Nejc and Slovenia Activities. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent time on my tour! Anze was friendly, detailed, and patient on our caving Lake Bled adventure caving tour. It has inspired me to further explore caves in my own region.
