Canyoning Fratarica

The magnificent Fratarica Canyon offers an authentic canyoning experience in one of the most pristine environments in Slovenia. This thrilling ride will take you down amazing waterfalls and naturally sculpted slides to the hidden corners of fairy-tale-like gorges. Your heart will be racing and your skills put to the test.

Your adventure will begin in the very heart of Triglav National Park, the village of Log pod Mangartom. A professional guide will show you the ins and outs and supply you with the necessary equipment. Once geared up, the guide will take you on a 30-minute hike up to the top of the Fratarica Canyon. It’s downhill from there. The diverse features of the canyon will keep you engaged throughout your 3-hour descent. No particular prior experience is required, except for a relatively good physical condition. Vertigo, however, is not recommended, as part of your canyoning descent involves rappelling down the 48-meter-high Parabola waterfall.
