If you’ve always wanted to climb an impressively high mountain, but couldn’t due to difficulty, this one’s for you.

Viševnik is a mountain that is both over 2000 meters (6500 feet) high and easily accessible with regular hiking gear. But that doesn’t mean that the views aren’t up to par: the panorama is one of the best around, as you get to see other, higher mountains from a prime perspective. Triglav (literally meaning three-headed), Slovenia’s highest mountain, can easily be seen from the top, as can other proud peaks of the Julian Alps.

Due to the easy incline of its south side, this hike is the quickest and easiest way to get to the spectacular views Slovenian Alpine world has to offer.

The tour is easy and suitable for beginners, families, and children.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a single traveller, how can I book?

Don’t worry, just drop us a line in our inbox. We will do our best to try and find you some company, so if you are flexible in your travel dates, let us know as well. Do you want a private trip? No problem, we got you covered too.

What should I wear on Viševnik Tour?

It is important that your clothes are comfortable. It is recommended that you also have some warmer and windproof clothing with you as temperature can drop or in case of cold wind. You can always leave excess clothes in the van after consulting with our guide.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

Even though Slovenia is small, it has quite a diverse climate, so it is not unusual for the weather to be better in another part of the country. If offered alternative tour doesn’t suit you or if the weather is not suitable for hiking, you will receive a full refund if you have already prepaid our tour.

We believe that your experience will be better in smaller groups. Therefore, there will be a maximum of 8 guests per guide.

Am I fit enough for Viševnik Tour?
