Description
Do you love the idea of climbing exposed rocky cliffs and the adrenaline thrill of heights but never had the nerve to take up climbing? Take a day trip to a via ferrata and experience a combination of climbing and mountaineering – hassle free, no previous knowledge required. Leave walking behind, and haul yourself up an “iron path” or a via ferrata, which is equipped with metal cables, iron rungs, pegs, and steps embedded into the mountain. At times, you will also be using ladders and bridges to cross the challenging terrain, always secured with a sturdy harness and a via ferrata kit.
We will take you to the starting point, where you will get all the necessary equipment and be briefed on how to move along the ferrata route and how to use the equipment to maximise your experience and safety. After the basic techniques and safety precautions, you will start the climb, accompanied by an experienced guide who will make sure you feel comfortable and safe while enjoying the thrills that only these rugged cliffs can offer.

There are more routes of different difficulty and our guides will pick out the most suitable according to your wishes and skills. And if afterward you still wish to do even more challenging via ferrata route, you can try climbing the highest Slovenian peak on a Mount Triglav Tour.
Things to know
It is important that your clothes are comfortable. It is recommended that you also have some warmer and windproof clothing with you as temperature can drop or in case of cold wind. You can always leave excess clothes in the van after consulting with our guide.
There are a few routes to choose from, so we will try to find the one with the best weather. If the weather is not suitable, you will receive a full refund if you have already prepaid our tour.
We believe that your experience will be better in smaller groups. Therefore, there will be a maximum of 4 guests per guide.
The tour is flexible and can be adjusted to your preferences, skills and fitness. However, some basic strength is required for the Via Ferrata.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant women and people over 110 kg – you have to fit in a harness. If you have health issues, consult with a guide.
On our tours you will have professional local guides. Our guides will make sure that you will have expert guiding combined with great fun and memorable experience.
Our minimum age for tours is 12 years old. If you are planning to go on a tour with children, please let us know in advance and we can adjust the tour if necessary.
Bring enough water, some snacks and sunscreen or other sun protection.
Our experiences are priced per person, as listed. However, some experiences have a minimum requirement of 2 participants. Solo travelers can still book these experiences but will need to cover the cost for two participants. If a group forms for the same experience, we can refund the difference in cost to the solo traveler.
