Description of Triglav 7 Lakes Hike

Seven is a magic number in Slovenian folklore. Every story starts like this: “Behind seven seas and seven mountains… ” Well, the seven lakes of Triglav are real, but they are no less magical.

Explore the pristine nature of Slovenia’s largest national park as you hike to each of the seven lakes. The environment inside the park is protected and thus pure. If you’re used to city air, a deep breath here will feel like taking off a weighted vest.

And make no mistake - we’ll make sure you’ll be getting plenty of oxygen by making you breathe heavy. This is not the easiest hike and it does take some stamina. However, it should be more than manageable for most fit people.

The tour is not very steep or technical, but requires a solid fitness level of hiking for 8 hours.

Simply awesome. Beautiful nature all around. The lakes are superb, we saw all seven of them. Took a couple of stops on great spots going up. And soak our feet in the chill lake. Cool hike!
