Description
Enjoy a safe, adrenaline-filled ride by tackling the amazing rapids of the stunning Soča River as it carves its way through the pristine landscape of the Alpine world. Rafting has never been this much fun!
Known for its crystal-clear properties, incredible surroundings and enviable number of amazing rapids, the Soča River is the emerald queen of Slovenian mountains. There’s no better way of exploring this incredible Alpine jewel than by rafting down its rapids. Soča river rafting is an adrenaline boost and a unique scenic adventure all in one.
The Boka-Trnovo route involves a diverse combination of easy and more challenging rapids. This 8 km long descent begins at the 106 m Boka waterfall, though in summer months the journey is shortened by 2 km due to lower water levels. Tackling the rapids and pools on a big raft (8 rafters) lasts about 1.5 hours and includes class IV rapids. For the entire experience, which includes time spent changing and transport, allow up to 2.5 hours.
If you want to go Soča rafting, Bovec is the place to go. It is the watersport capital of Slovenia. Before venturing on your trip through the picturesque town, you will start by signing a waiver form with our guide, who will then present you with the necessary equipment and take you to the river where your Bovec rafting adventure begins. Once in your wetsuit and familiarised with the safety instructions, your rafting descent will begin. You’ll start off on easier sections with the ride getting bumpier as you go. Our guide will make sure your rafting adventure is packed with additional activities like body rafting and other super fun boat-related stunts. At the end of your trip, our driver will already be waiting for you on the shore to take you back. Photos and memories will be exchanged and a fantastic time will be had.
